Providing simple, decent, affordable housing for urban families.
For over 30 years, Habitat for Humanity International has been involved in meeting this need. Now First Christian, along with many other partner groups, will participate in a build in the Drake Neighborhood. The construction site will be on the open lot behind the church (at 26th & University in Des Moines, Iowa).

Working with Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity , we are also partnering with other religious groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations, and interested individuals, all of whom will help both with financial resources and volunteer labor.
